If you continue with poor posture it could eventually cause the joints in your upper back to become stressed and start scar tissue that could turn into degenerative arthritis, this is the same for your neck region which the stiffness is caused by little movement causing pain and a very sensitive structure of nerves and discs in your neck and upper back.
